Course overview
Vehicular Defensive Strategies 1 introduces the problems a vehicle creates. Students work on situational awareness while driving and parking, seat belt and door management, drawing from a seated position, and understanding what a vehicle does and does not protect against.

Anyone who spends significant time in a car and wants to understand defensive considerations specific to vehicles.

Safety requirements
Vehicle-based training has specific safety requirements. Firearm status, training equipment, and search procedures are briefed and enforced at the start of class. Follow instructor direction exactly when entering or exiting a training vehicle.
