Basic Rifle Skills covers rifle operation from the ground up: safety and storage, how the rifle functions, sight and optic zeroing, shooting positions, sling use, reloads, and clearing stoppages. Students finish with a zeroed rifle and a clear understanding of how to practice.

Safety requirements
This is a live-fire rifle course. Rifles remain cased and unloaded, with chamber flags where required, until an instructor directs otherwise. Muzzle discipline is enforced strictly on and off the line.
Ammunition requirements are confirmed at registration. Contact us before class if you are unsure what to bring.
Clothing: Closed-toe shoes, a shirt with a high neckline, and a hat with a brim. Elbow and knee pads are useful.
